About me
“As we work to create light for others, we naturally light our own way.”
-Mary Anne Radmacher
To bring about positive change in this world, you must start with yourself! I am a trailblazer, a social innovator intent on making a positive impact by challenging outdated thinking and bringing a social equity, entrepreneurial and solution-led approach to Schools, Entrepreneurs, Businesses, Underserved Communities, and Economic Development Organizations I come in contact with. I understand how socio-economic demographics drive strategic changes in today’s society and my goal is to light the way, providing result-orientated practical solutions with well-thought-out collaborative strategies for self-sufficient and sustainable growth in underserved communities.
As an economic strategist and serial entrepreneur with 20 years of experience, I have developed a strong visionary sense in identifying unique business opportunities not easily seen by most. I enjoy being a catalyst for innovation, challenging corporate leaders to initiate growth within their organizations and communities. These skills I now translate into my daily professional life as a CEO of a global Hygiene Tech Company, President of a Non-Profit, Social Innovation & Impact Director of a Community Interest Organisation, Author of 2 entrepreneurship workbooks, Startup Mentor, Angel Investor, etc. I enjoy working as an engagement vehicle to assist underserved audiences by helping them develop collaborative pathways to ownership and to foster economic equality and financial wellness in their communities and beyond.
Today, I look out for startups that have the potential to economically benefit and lift underserved communities. I mentor women like myself and offer teaching or training opportunities to single mothers. I offer a dynamic perspective on taking a creative entrepreneurial approach alongside developing an individual's emotional intelligence to help produce ethical and sound-minded entrepreneurs. I believe if we take a holistic approach to enhance educational outcomes, it will lead to a future with more prosperous, self-aware, diverse, and self-motivated individuals, businesses, and communities. I have collectively pooled the experience and needs of other entrepreneurs, successful blue-chip companies, and my practical knowledge of bringing the BBX program, accessible to the public in my first book Biabook, which is available for purchase on Amazon. I also host a seasonal podcast #HTMAM, where I share with others a pathway to financial freedom and partner on another Rise Urban Nation which has not evolved from highlighting Pan-African Innovation to fostering it by helping to build career pathways partnerships with startups and growing tech firms.
As a sought-after professional, speaker, mentor, and columnist, I am a go-to person for helping businesses, as well as individuals, recognize and realize their true potential, explore and adapt to developing markets whilst reviewing demographic compositions. My career and business portfolio reflects my avid passion for continuously fostering economic growth in struggling communities. This can be achieved by developing a three-level approach to foster a healthy entrepreneurial ecosystem, developing sound-minded individuals via supplementary education, focusing strongly on financial literacy, and being open-minded to innovative industries as a building block for positive change.
My career goal is to be a lighthouse for underserved economic groups by helping them achieve sustainable impact for the communities they serve through collaborative partnerships, social innovations, and goal-orientated activities that will lead to infinite success.
