I see Light,
I see you,
Yet I choose to stay away,
Until your darkness is at bay.
Many I meet,
With intentions bittersweet,
But in fear they accept defeat,
And let down the bridge to where evil sits.
So I stand by the shore,
Tempting but there is nothing I want more,
Than to experience your wonderful light,
To feel the true you, even out of sight.
So in prayer, at bay, I stay,
Awaken, I hope you may one day,
Feel the light that dwells within,
And step out from the shadows you are in.
I see light,
I see you,
These eyes so clear and true,
This forgiving heart made just for loving you.
Unconditional love always wins,
It's the ultimate healer, you will find it buried within.
Embrace my light, it will show you how,
To be the true you, the pure essence of love, you were endowed.
Within you, it's refreshingly bright,
Boldly step out of the dark, into the light,
As we laugh together and separately live right,
Wonderfully clear as the moon fills up the sky at night.
I saw light,
I've seen you,
That pure essence expressed in the little things you do,
It's that innocent something that will always pull me back to you.
